We visited this Belmont village to talk with Guillermo Laporta, flutist, musician and director of the Association for the Development of the Arts in Rural Areas and Cre Art Box. Guillermo tells us about his project, aimed at revitalizing rural areas through cultural projects with international impact. They promote the use of unconventional spaces in disuse and encourage rural/cultural tourism, attracting artists from international cultural currents. Their first event? The 'Leiguarda Music 2021'. The program of the "I Leiguarda Music Festival" includes members of the CreArt- Box ensemble from New York, as well as international, Spanish and American soloists. The event fuses classical and new music featuring composers such as J.S Bach, Joseph Haydn, Felix Mendelssohn, Leonard Bernstein, John Harbison, Marcos Fernandez, and Manuel de Falla.
